The problem: plenty of activity, little you can count
Most smaller businesses we talk to already do some marketing. There is a Google Ads account someone set up a couple of years ago, an Instagram account that gets updated when there is time, and perhaps an agency sending a report full of impressions and clicks. What is missing is the answer to the only question that matters: what did we get back for the money?
Good digital marketing looks different. There is a goal you can count, such as quote requests, bookings or orders. Each channel has a job. Ads lead to pages built to receive that particular visitor. And someone acts on the numbers every month.
How we run digital marketing
We work in a monthly cycle: build, measure, learn, improve. A campaign is not a project that ends, but something that gets better with each round.
- Goals and starting point. We start with what you sell, which customers are most profitable and what a new customer is worth. From that we set a monthly goal that can be followed up.
- Review of what exists. We go through existing ad accounts, your website and past campaigns. There is often money to save right here, on keywords that never converted or audiences that are too broad.
- Channel choice and plan. Google Ads catches people who are already searching. Social media advertising creates demand among people who are not looking yet. Content marketing builds trust and visibility over time. We choose the mix by goal and budget, not by what is fashionable.
- Production. We write the ad copy and articles and produce the images and video. We adjust the landing pages on your site too, because a good ad pointing to a weak page is wasted money.
- Launch and measurement. Campaigns go live with clear tracking of sources from the start, so we know which channel produced which enquiry.
- Monthly review. We show what worked, what did not and what we suggest for next month.
On the performance side we handle setup, keywords and audiences, budget allocation and reporting on Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok.
Content marketing and video
Content marketing means articles, guides and copy that answer the questions your customers actually ask. That helps in Google and in AI search, which we cover in how to be visible in AI search. Video covers promotional films, product videos and short clips for social feeds, including editing. If you also want help with day-to-day channel work, like posting and replying to comments, that sits in our social media management service.
Measuring without tracking your visitors
On websites we build, we measure behaviour without cookies and without personal data. That means no cookie banner for the analytics itself, and you still see which pages work and where visitors drop off. Read more in our article on cookieless analytics.
We want to be straight about one thing. The ad platforms’ own tracking code, such as the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads conversion tag, works differently. Under Swedish rules, consent is required before non-essential cookies are stored on a visitor’s device (PTS on cookies), and Google itself requires consent from visitors in the EEA for cookies and for personalised ads (Google EU user consent policy).
So we measure first with what needs no tracking: tagged campaign links, which landing pages get traffic, and how many enquiries and orders come in compared with what the campaign cost. If you want the platforms to optimise for conversions through their pixels, we set that up with proper consent and explain what you gain and what it costs in privacy.
What drives cost and timeline?
We do not publish prices, because two companies rarely need the same thing. These are the factors that decide it:
| Factor | What it affects |
|---|
| Ad budget | Paid straight to the platforms and sets how many people you can reach |
| Number of channels | Each channel needs its own setup, material and follow-up |
| Volume of content | Articles, ads and videos per month |
| Video production | Shooting days, locations and how much editing is needed |
| Starting point | Whether accounts and landing pages exist or must be built from scratch |
A first campaign can usually start within a few weeks of the first call. Content and SEO are longer work, where results grow month by month.
Why Almano rather than a traditional marketing agency?
A typical marketing agency runs the ads, a web agency builds the site and someone else shoots the video. When results fail to show, everyone points at everyone else. With us, marketing, website and analytics sit with one partner, so a change to a landing page can be made the same week we see it is needed.
We have Swedish founders and Swedish-speaking customer contact, and development is done by our own team in Nha Trang, Vietnam. That often lets us price below a typical Swedish agency. You own your accounts, your data and your material, and you can cancel any time.
To be honest, we are a weaker fit if you only want a one-off campaign with no follow-up, or if you already have an in-house marketing team that just needs extra hands for a single channel.
A real example
When we built the online store for nyaljusekulla.se, a garden centre in Helsingborg, we built pre-order flows around peaks like Mother’s Day, and same-day local delivery. That is exactly the foundation a seasonal campaign needs: a page that can take the order when the ad does its job.
